We are almost neighbours! I’m in Brant County.
Blogging, especially the Prompts, has been great for ‘meeting’ people. It’s a whole new community!
It is… and not that I’m all about borders or patriotism or whatnot, but it’s always nice to find someone close to home – happy blogging
I’ll pop in to say Hello, too, and wish you Happy blogging.
Though I’m in Sask now my roots are in SW Ontario; our Vance family first settled in Oxford Co and my Grandpa came to SK from the Listowel area. The Turners came from Huron & Grey. Have been to Lambton area numerous times back when we lived in Perth Co for 15 years. Beautiful country!
Blogging is great for ‘meeting’ like-minded people. Great to meet you!
I lived in Sarnia as a child but we moved to Toronto. I moved to Vancouver when I was in my early 20’s. This area was a distant memory, also. Now I’ve made a full circle back to my childhood places. Funny where life can take you!
Hey there Monicle! I’m doing a project where I’m following ten exciting, fresh, and interesting bloggers each day for the month of March 2015, and you’re today’s #10! Feel free to come visit me when you can at http://www.thatssojacob.wordpress.com, and follow if you like what you read. Have a good one!
Hey Monicle, I applaud the change! Thanks for completing some of my prompts and sharing the spotlight with me. I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger and the Real Neat Blog Awards. The details are in my post, Playing it Forward. I hope you accept! Enjoy the rest of the week.
oh, oh!… and Thanks!
I’ll be sixty in about six months and understand the “too old to work” part. Definitely too young to die. Longing for my second career as a writer and artist and puttering around the yard and house with the dogs. I contemplated being sixty, single and surviving. I prepared for it, and accepted it, and I still recognize the benefits of being free and independent. Then my high school sweetheart found me in 2011. You never know what surprises might be around the corner. Nice to find you from SOC Saturday!
I keep hoping……

Thanks! but I have nothing when it comes to my future……..
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope this feeling passes.
Well, I didn’t expect to be alone and working in a grocery store at this age. I really have no idea what my future has in store…… I just want to retire.
I can imagine! Conventional wisdom says that everything happens for a reason. I’m not so sure about that but maybe it’s true. In any event, I hope that the universe will smile upon you and that you’ll get some relief soon.
