I would love to finish that line and say “… and I’m not going to take it anymore!” but in this case I have to. It’s that infernal propane dealer with the rude people who work there; they make my blood boil. I’ve written about it before;

I’m just trying to get a damn tank of propane. It jumped up to $400 a but they didn’t tell me when I deposited the money Friday morning so I had to add more today before they will bring it. Once again, I’m approaching ’empty’. I’m afraid to tell them how rude they are on top of being not helpful at all. And they are called customer service…. HA!
But I didn’t want to start off my post all mad and grouchy. I finally have a day off! I had to work 3 days in a row with two 6 hour shifts and I’m tired. That’s a lot for this old broad.
On top of that, I drove home in terrible weather again. Freezing rain was on the windshield when I got off work at 6:00. It was just turning to snow. It was the kind of ice your scraper just slides over: it took me so long to scrape it. The roads were horrendous! Fresh snow on top of freezing slush; you couldn’t see the lines on the road.
I am so happy to be staying home today! And so happy to have wood heat and plenty of good wood. I’m not really mad as hell…… Network is my favourite movie: I called the propane place at 8:05 this morning to confirm they had my money……. they made me mad as hell.
I would love to sit and gab but we got quite a bit of snow last night. There is a ton of snow on firewood covered in a tarp and that has met with the mound I shovel off my deck. (I always keep my deck shovelled). Between those two mounds of snow is the path to the propane tank. I’ve already spent quite a bit of effort making a path-way to the tank because the driver could refuse delivery if it’s not easy enough. I better get out there…..
I hope it is delivered today and I hope there is some sunshine this afternoon. The sun is getting high enough to fall on my couch in afternoon and I’ve got a jigsaw puzzle going. It’s been a week since I’ve done that. Even my days off were busy last week.
So I’m going to end this post with what I was going to title it;
THANK GOD ITS MONDAY!!!
(Even though Network is my favourite movie, I want to add this video of Madeline Kahn; if it ends up on top of my post; let it be known that Blazing Saddles is definitely NOT my favourite movie;
